Zinedine Zidane has said he is not stepping down.

Real Madrid crashed and has made life difficult for itself in the Champions League.

Zinedine Zidane made it clear at a press conference that he will not resign after the defeat.

Real Madrid will have to keep a close eye on their group rivals on this and the next and final day, when anything could happen. The team unexpectedly lost against Shakhtar.

With two errors and misses in the defense, Madrid has complicated its life and Zinedine Zidane came out to face the press conference. The Frenchman made several headlines.

“I am not going to resign. In the first half we were good and we should have scored the first goal. We’ve had some delicate moments and it’s true that it’s a bad run, but we have to keep going. It was a final and we know there’s a game left and we have to win,” began Zidane.

The French coach said he believes in his players and their ability to lead the team and get out of this dynamic: “Of course I have the strength.

The other day against Alavés we didn’t deserve to win and today we do. There is no other remedy than to work to continue and that the good results return”.

The Frenchman tried to explain the reasons for what happened on the pitch and was left with “many things”. “We pushed up, got the ball back and we had chances in the game. I don’t think it’s a question of the game,” he continued.

“It is a delicate and complicated moment, but I am convinced that we will get our character out because we have to win the next game. I’m convinced that we can do it,” concluded the Real Madrid coach.
