Camavinga underperforming is good news for Real Madrid. ‘AS’ confirmed that the board headed up by Florentino Perez trust his talent and are now hoping to get him for a lower price.
His recent performances have been below par and estimates suggest that he is now worth just 49 million euros. That number could fall further if he misses out on a start against Sevilla in an attempt to ‘punish’ his poor form.
Real Madrid are planning to make their move in Summer 2021. Their priority is Mbappé; that deal is still being worked on, but Camavinga is seen as a reasonable second option. They didn’t make any notable additions in the last window and the coronavirus pandemic could mean that the same is true in January.
