The singer returns with a surprise single that arrives with a music video where she frolics for five minutes and amasses a handful of food-court options, from pretzels to lemonade to French fries to Chipotle chips.
She dropped her debut album, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, in 2019, which swept all four major awards at the Grammys earlier this year.
Eilish will premiere “Therefore I Am” at the American Music Awards on November 22nd, which also includes performances by Jennifer Lopez, Bad Bunny, Megan Thee Stallion, Dua Lipa, and others. Eilish was nominated for Favorite Artist — Alternative Rock and Favorite Social Artist. On December 10th, she’ll perform at iHeart Radio’s Jingle Ball 2020.
Last month, she also released a video for “No Time to Die,” her song from the forthcoming James Bond film of the same name, but that project seems to be cursed on some level: The film was first delayed just a couple of weeks after her song dropped, and was delayed again just after the video arrived.
She has also been performing on several livestreams — including her ambitious, paid “Where Do We Go?” full-length livestreamed concert last month — releasing the “My Future” single over the summer.
