Cillessen’s injury has been confirmed.
The goalkeeper will not play Los Blancos at the Mestalla. He is out and will be replaced by Jaume.
Valencia goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen has suffered a muscle injury and is out for the game against Real Madrid.
The club said that the Holland international “suffered the injury in training on Friday to his rectus-anterior muscle”.
They didn’t mention how long he would be out but said that “he will miss the game to recover fully”.
The Cillissen injury poses problems for Valencia, just a day after Javi Gracia played a full match with the starting eleven. Now, the plans will have to change.
