Jovic Is Allegedly Thinking About Leaving Real Madrid

Jovic has allegedly been thinking about leaving Real Madrid.

After hesitating during the summer, Luka Jovic started the season with minutes again. Zidane trusted him as a single striker and with Benzema, but as the games went by he stopped being played by the Frenchman.

For that reason, ‘Marca’ says that the Serbian has returned to the idea of leaving Real Madrid in January.

Luka Jovic’s situation at Real Madrid is a constant tug-of-war. The club has not given up on the Serbian, for whom they paid 60 million euros to Eintracht Frankfurt a year ago, but his performance has never been convincing.

This summer saw the striker’s departure closer than ever. The option of him going on loan back to Germany was there, Monaco also sounded interested, but both the player and the club decided that he should stay.

The beginning of the season was a different story for Jovic, at least in terms of minutes.

With the market still open, Zinedine Zidane gave him opportunities in the League. Specifically, two consecutive starts against Betis and Real Valladolid.

It was understood that the lack of continuity was weighing on him, but the forward did not take advantage of his chances and maintained his goal drought for Serbia, where there is concern for him. And in October, Zidane returned to leaving him out of his plans.

He came on against Cadiz in the final stretch and was a starter in the disaster against Shakhtar Donetsk.
He was not to blame for the scoreboard, but he was once again uninvolved and unimpressive in the few balls that came his way.

In the end, neither as a lone striker nor accompanied by Benzema. Jovic has not convinced and has run out of minutes in the last four games, which according to ‘Marca’ puts him back on the lookout for an exit route.

According to the mentioned media, Luka Jovic could reportedly be reconsidering asking to leave Real Madrid in the next winter market. At least, on loan to have continuity in another team further away from the spotlight.
