Blake Jenner Claims Melissa Benoist Assaulted Him in the Shower & Left Him with a Traumatic Injury.

The 28-year-old Glee actor said he has spent the past eleven months trying to decide how to address the allegations.

Blake Jenner has responded to his ex-wife Melissa Benoist‘s revelation about being the victim of domestic abuse and he confirmed that he was emotionally, mentally, and physically abusive to her. He also has allegations to make against her.

He now says he takes “full responsibility and accountability for the hurt that I inflicted during my relationship with my past partner.”

Back in November 2019, Melissa released a video in which she said she’s a domestic violence survivor and that she suffered months of domestic abuse at the hands of a younger partner.

Blake claims that Melissa was also abusive to him and he made some serious allegations against her, including an incident that he says happened in the shower and left him with a traumatic injury.

“The mental and emotional abuse began at the start of our relationship.

I was made to pass on numerous jobs and opportunities because of jealousy of prospective female co-stars,” Blake claimed in his open letter.

“I was discouraged from and threatened to not develop relationships with and take photos with female co-stars at professional events.

Threats and derogatory comments were made regarding female colleagues I had worked or was working with.”

“I was made to feel guilty for working as I received calls from my former partner while I was away, threatening self-harm out of depression and a deep-seated fear of abandonment.

I was isolated — prohibited from seeing my friends for years, resulting in this toxic relationship becoming the entirety of my world,” Blake said.

He continued, “I was verbally and emotionally abused for everything from the family I was born into to the clothes I would wear in photoshoots. I was scratched. I was slapped.

I was punched in the face, which caused a trip to the hospital to treat my broken nose. I, too, have had to conceal and make up lies about many visible injuries I had incurred throughout the relationship.

I was physically assaulted in the shower, leaving me with a traumatic injury that I do not want to delve into at this time.”
