Tiller just dropped deluxe edition of his debut Trapsoul on September 25, the multi-platinum selling singer has set an October 2 release date for his Anniversary LP.
The body of work is a follow up to his sophomore album True To Self, which arrived in 2017. The LP debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 chart, becoming his first No. 1 LP. Tiller admitted to Billboard that True To Self wasn’t his best effort as a mea culpa to fans disappointed he didn’t live up to the hype.
“This album is a different energy. There’s a clear difference with this album and True to Self,” Tiller told Billboard. “I can’t afford to bring my C-game now — not for my two daughters. It’s just my A-game here on out.”
Tiller’s first studio LP TRAPSOUL, which included his breakthrough single “Don’t,” attained a platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America in May 2020.
