Matt Dillon Brings Girlfriend Roberta Mastromichele To ‘The Great Fellove’ Premiere at San Sebastian Film Festival.
The 56-year-old actor was the director on the film and spoke to Deadline about the project ahead of the red carpet event, and revealed that what you see in the documentary is only half of what was filmed.

The movie centers on Matt‘s passion for Cuban music, and focuses on Francisco Fellove, a singer and songwriter known for his scat singing.
“I had been sitting on the footage for a long time,” Matt admits. “We had all the mini-DV cassettes, it was state of the art at the time.
It doesn’t seem that long ago but it’s a lifetime ago.
I always take a Super 8 camera with me, I like it. I lost quite a lot of the footage, not all of it survived.”
