“See y’all mistake my name for Logic’s,” he continues, “y’all got me fucked up/How you compare a nigga that take from the culture/Versus a nigga that’s for it.”
In a statement, the Carson, California MC calls “The Soul – Pt. 2” an “honest record about the headspace I’m in right now, as well as serves as a time capsule for the various headspaces I’ve found myself in over the last couple years.”
