Marvel Studios Have Released The Official Trailer For Wandavision.
In the teaser, we see Wanda aka Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany) seemingly unaware of the latter’s demise following the chaotic events of Avengers: Endgame.
The fabric of reality seems to have been completely decimated in the first official trailer for Marvel Studios’ WandaVision, which is set to stream exclusively on Disney+ before the end of 2020.
Though we do get glimpses at some of the action we can expect from the television series, it does appear to be largely reminiscent of a sitcom.
There’s canned laughter and reactions to what goes on, and whilst this could simply be for the trailer rather than being a real part of the upcoming show, it wouldn’t be surprising if it is woven in somehow.
Disney+ describe the series as “a blend of classic television and the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff and Vision two super-powered beings living idealised suburban lives begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems.”
You can watch the trailer for yourself below, and check out the newly-released poster for the series:
The show will mark Disney+’s first new and exclusive Marvel Studios television series to hit the streaming service, with plans for more to arrive in the near future.
They will include The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, Hawkeye, She-Hulk, Moon Knight, What If…? and Ms. Marvel.
Exactly when we’ll see any teasers for any of the above however, is anybody’s guess. We only recently got the first trailer for the second season of The Mandalorian, and that’s set to debut in just over a month’s time.
Disney+ like keeping their cards close to their chest, especially when it comes to their shows from Marvel Studios.
Keep your eyes peeled though; they may just decide to drop something out of the blue to keep all appetites whetted.
WandaVision will come to Disney+ in late 2020.
