The song is off new EP EVOLUTION, which will arrive on Friday, Sept. 18. The six-song project includes featured artists The Game and Rick Ross.
On the single, Joyner raps about their tumultuous relationship right within the first verse: “‘Cause when we hurt each other we come back to help each other heal/ You say I’m crazy, but at least you know my love is real/ But s–t, you crazy too, and that’s why they say love is hell.”
EVOLUTION follows the release earlier this year of Lucas’ acclaimed debut album, ADHD, via his own Twenty Nine Music Group label. The project made an extraordinary chart debut upon its March release, landing at #10 on the SoundScan/Billboard 200 – Lucas’ first-ever top 10 debut on the overall chart. The smash single, “Isis (feat. Logic)” has recently gone platinum.
