Roman Reigns Is Back In WWE With A New Attitude And It Seems That Extends To Social Media.

The Big Dog made a sensational return at SummerSlam last month before winning the Universal Championship just one week later at Payback with Paul Heyman by his side.

While many fans are delighted to see Reigns back on screen, one social media follower complained that the top star was already being ‘forced down people’s throats again’, while describing him as an ‘overrated performer’.

Referring to Roman’s title win – which came just one week after “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt defeated Braun Strowman for the belt – the Twitter user wrote: ‘Roman being forced down people’s throats again…..such an overrated perfromer. ‘The belt has changed hands has so many times it just has no prestige. Rubbish. (sic)’

While the old Reigns might have delivered a more sympathetic or less direct response, the new attitude was on full display as he tore down the fans with a tweet of his own.

Clearly not holding back, he responded: ‘Only reason I’m down your throat, is because you keep your mouth open. ‘I’m the best performer of this generation period and the title is finally in the right hands for it to hold true value.’ Wow, Roman. Tell us how you really feel!

It’s all change for Roman at the moment, as he showed more of a bad guy side to him since his return. On Sunday, he didn’t sign his contract or join the main event until his opponents were already laid out after the ring collapsed, and his language towards the referee as he called for the count was a world away from his previous character.

Then there was the small matter of the low blow on The Fiend, before taking out Strowman with a steel chair and hitting the Spear for the win. Based on his social media exchanges, the change is here to stay and fans will be desperate to hear an explanation on SmackDown later this week.
