Seven Players Will Leave Barcelona

Barca have gotten to work to make a profound change in their squad, a change that involves the immediate departure of seven players.

The newspaper ‘AS’ has already put a name and surname to them: Arthur, Junior, Rakitic, Braithwaite, Umtiti, Arturo Vidal and Dembélé.

The painful 8-2 defeat in the Champions League quarter-final against Bayern Munich will bring consequences at the Camp Nou. According to the newspaper ‘AS’, Barcelona have already decided what players will leave the team first.

It seems that, according to the aforementioned source, Arthur Melo, Junior, Ivan Rakitic, Braithwaite, Samuel Umtiti, Arturo Vidal, and Ousmane Dembélé will put an end to their spells as Barcelona players this summer.

All these players would enter in both transfer and swap deals or they will be even let go so that they can decide what do do with their futures themselves.

The first to leave has been Arthur who, awaiting official confirmation, is now no longer a Barcelona player. The Brazilian, ‘La Vanguardia’ inform, will fly to Turin on 23rd August to join Juventus on 24th.

One of the players linked with leaving the most in the last few months has been the Croat Rakitic, who could play at Sevilla again, although there is still nothing completed between both clubs.

For his part, Braithwaite will leave the Camp Nou after a discrete spell at the club, while Arturo Vidal and Junior Firpo don’t seem like they are going to have problems finding a new team.

Umtiti and Dembélé’s cases are different, with an injury history that complicates, and greatly complicates, a possible agreement for their transfers. However, these seven players aren’t the only ones with possibilities of leaving.

The aforementioned source states Nélson Semedo, Luis Suárez, Neto, Sergi Roberto, and Antoine Griezmann as other possible unwanted players by Barca this summer.
