Bow Wow slams Timbaland For Saying He doesn't have 20 hits

Bow Wow has slammed Timbaland For Saying He doesn’t have 20 hits to compete with any other music act on a Verzuz battle.

Bow Wow had ignored the music clash series, saying it would be a “waste of time.” Timbaland, who started Verzuz with Swizz Beatz, questioned whether he had the 20 hits necessary to participate in the competition. “He mite not have 20 n the bag,” Timbaland commented on a post from The Shade Room.

But Bow Wow didn’t take kindly to Timbo’s words and clapped back at the super-producer. “You been drinking too much Ciroc…. 20? Timbo you betta stop playing w/ me,” he said. “I can give you 10 before i hit my 3rd album. The Bow Wow era was nothing to play w/ Ima let the people tell you about me tho.”

Bow Wow retweeted fans tweets that shared a potential set list spanning his 20-year career, and suggested that he had even more hits. “What about: Oh i think they like me. Where the party at remix. Destiny child remix. Ima flirt. Theres more…. 3-6 mafia side to side we past 20 right?” he asked.

Timbaland said he was down to discuss a potential matchup. “@shadmoss ok let’s celebrate this for the culture @verzuztv let’s talk young king !!!” he said.

Jackboy’s been having quite the run in the past two years. The release of his self-titled album earlier this year felt like a culmination of work he put in with both JackNDaBox and Lost In My Head in 2019. But even with the release of a new project, he’s keeping the streets flooded with new music in anticipation for his next project due out later this summer.

Today, Jackboy delivered an emotional bid to the lost love and fake friends on his latest drop, “Cut Ties.” Diving deeper into a melancholic bag, Jackboy reflects on the people closest to him switching up on him once he started getting a bit of fame, whether it’s women or close friends.

The rapper’s latest single arrives after the release of “In My City.” Keep your eyes peeled for Living In History dropping on August 27th.

Quotable Lyrics
I’m getting paid ’cause I been grindin’
In and out of state, I’m jumping back from coast to coast
Only worried about the dough, ain’t worried about a hoe
I ain’t cutting the check with you, hoe, you could die broke
