Tinashe has released Rascal (Superstar) [Music Video]. In the clip, the singer dances, make colorful cakes, and sing to a pink drone in the Jasper Soloff-directed visual below.
The song was recorded in sessions for her album Songs For You and is attributed to her alter ego from her shelved album NASHE and songs like “Link Up” and “Cash Race”.
They should pay me, how they copy what I say (Ah-ah)
They don’t know the road that we’ve been on (They don’t know)
Bitch that ain’t a joke, I’m a villain
I’m in first place, need a ribbon
They don’t understand that I’m the shit
Tinashe’s most recent studio album was last year’s Songs for You, which marked her first release after splitting with longtime label RCA. Her last LP on the imprint was 2018’s Joyride.
