The project, which he doesn’t want fans to call an “EP,” consists of three tracks and serves as his first release in three years. This three-track bundle follows Joey’s July 2017 Too Lit EP
This short project seems to be a prelude to Joey’s long-awaited third studio album, which was announced to be on its way by Joey during his May 2020 interview with COMPLEX:
It’s almost ready. It’s not going to be a longer wait than six months. […] It’s just about taking my time to produce the best body of work. I won’t settle for anything less than a classic.
