Empire star Bryshere Gray was arrested last night for domestic violence. Bryshere also known by his fan favorite character “Hakeem Lyons” on Empire was arrested after a standoff with Arizon Police. It has been revealed that Bryshere was high off K2 when he beat his wife forcing her to run to the Circle K gas station asking for help.
The Goodyear Police report, “The woman had flagged down a citizen for help moments earlier at another nearby gas station stating that she had been assaulted at her Goodyear home for the last several hours by her husband.
After police arrived at the couple’s home, Gray would not exit the residence. The actor barricaded himself inside the residence prompting Goodyear SWAT and Negotiations to be called to the scene. After an hours-long standoff, Gray surrendered and was booked at Maricopa County Jail. Gray is accused of aggravated assault (strangulation), assault (domestic violence), and disorderly conduct.
