T-Pain delivers inspiration through new single titled “Get Up.”

The hip-hop music star joins in on the ongoing protests for global Black Lives Matter campaigns and renewed calls for an end to police brutality in the wake of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor’s deaths.
“It’s very ironic because it all has so much more meaning to it now with everything going on in the world,” he said. “I thought it was silly to hold this song. I want people to be motivated, inspired, and to continue to Get Up and push forward.”
Proceeds from streaming as well as sales of the merchandise that was inspired by the new song will go toward Crime Survivors for Safety and Justice which, according to its mission statement, aims to “create healing communities and shape public safety policy.”
