Demi Lovato spoke at YouTube’s “Dear Class of 2020” offering advice to the new graduates during the live stream this past Sunday. Joining her were Taylor Swift, Beyonce, Justin Timberlake, Billie Eilish and more who shared encouraging words.
“It’s nerve-wracking and anxiety-inducing, right?” she asked. But when Lovato hammered home on the common theme of her speech: perseverance. “It’s easier to remember our failures and when we gave up,” Lovato said, “but you have to ask yourself: what were the moments where you kept fighting through the struggle and then you succeed?”
To the class of 2020: I’m rooting for you, I’m celebrating you, and congratulations.”
