Watch Archie Williams, the wrongfully convicted singer’s performance

Archie Williams came unto the America’s Got Talent Show and thrilled judges Simon Cowell, Sofia Vergara, Hedi Klum and Howie Mandel. The singer had been wrongfully incarcerated for 37 years, and that he was released from prison when new DNA evidence revealed he hadn’t committed the crime he had been convicted for.

Williams then sang Elton John’s Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me, bringing many people to tears — including Klum — with an absolutely gorgeous rendition. He received a well-deserved standing ovation, and Cowell said he’d never forget this audition
