Singer Pink recovers after being positive with the Corona Virus.
P!nk says she recently tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19).
The singer via her Twitter account, said “Two weeks ago my three-year-old son, Jameson, and I were showing symptoms of COVID-19,” she wrote.
“Fortunately, our primary care physician had access to tests and I tested positive.” P!nk wrote that her family was already sheltering at home at the time, and continued the practice for the following two weeks. P!nk added that “just a few days ago, we were re-tested and are now thankfully negative.”
P!nk is donating $500,000 to the Los Angeles Mayor’s emergency COVID-19 crisis fund, and $500,000 to the Temple University Hospital Emergency Fund in Philadelphia in honor of her mother, who worked there for 18 years in Cardiomyopathy and Heart Transplant Center.
“It is an absolute travesty and failure of our government to not make testing more widely accessible,” she wrote. P!nk also thanked healthcare professionals for all of their hard work.
Pink Corona Virus story is a tell tale sign of the need to have more testing kits accessible to people all over the world.
