Phantogram – Ceremony (Album Download)
Phantogram have released their new album “Ceremony.” Announcing the new music project, they release a new single from the body of work titled “Mister Impossible.” Available for download and streaming, the new album holds a total of 11 songs.
The track features distant synth horns back-dropping a loud and driving drum loop, as Barthel and other member Josh Carter croon vaguely over it. The chorus is the title of the song being sung by a robotic voice, while cycling and siren-like abrasive synths battle with the voice for dominance.
Ceremony marks a rebirth and embodies a dark, but hopeful, chapter for the band. The alternative music album is the first project they made entirely around Los Angeles, spending a week at Rancho de la Luna studio while recording the bulk of the album at Barthel’s new home studio, dubbed “Harmonie West,” (previous albums were made at Harmony Lodge in Upstate New York).
Ceremony includes the following tracks:
‘Dear God’
‘In A Spiral’
‘Into Happiness’
‘Pedestal’
‘Love Me Now’
‘Let Me Down’
‘News Today’
‘Mister Impossible’
‘Glowing’
‘Gaunt Kids’
‘Ceremony’
