BTS x Sia – On [mp3 Download]
BTS released their new track “On,” featuring Sia. The track serves as the lead single from their new album Map Of Soul 7, and it will front the project, receive the music video treatment (but not for a week) and even be sent to radio in the States.
“On” opens with an organ, summoning fans to church. The instrument helps ground the lofty song throughout, as it quickly becomes a massive production. What feels like a full marching band’s worth of drums (various kinds, as well) supply the energy, and odd electronic elements make the entire experience unique, strange, and ultimately delightful.
Two versions of “On” are available to those who want, with one likely headed toward a bigger launch than the other. On the digital edition of Map of the Soul: 7, there’s a version of the track that only features BTS singing the tune.
