Carly Rae Jepsen has just released a new song called “Let’s Be Friends.” Jepsen starts off her music year in 2020 with this awesome sounding funky track. Available for download and streaming, the singer had announced the single via social media by unveiling the title and artwork after teasing with a series of cute pics.

The track is an ’80s-flavours but it’s driven by acoustic guitar and sassy spoken word parts. It has a buoyant pop chorus but there’s also a strong alternative vibe to it in its grittier-than-usual production.
