La Roux – International Woman of Leisure [MP3 Download]

La Roux shares her latest new song called “International Woman of Leisure.” Available for download and streaming, the new song is the newest from the English synth-pop act formed in 2006 by singer Eleanor “Elly” Jackson and record producer Ben Langmaid.

Originally a two-piece, Elly Jackson is now the sole member of La Roux following the departure of Ben Langmaid, whose exit from the band was announced ahead of the release of the last La Roux record ‘Trouble in Paradise’ in July 2014.

The ‘In For The Kill’ singer claimed problems emerged between the pair because she spent so long touring their self-titled debut album in America and returned with a different set of influences.

She explained: ”It was always going to be difficult because we’d had a long time away from each other when I was on tour.

”We weren’t really that connected and I’d realised what kind of performer I wanted to be onstage, which led to me finding my first record restricting. I came back home and I felt like a different person.’

Their debut album La Roux was a critical and commercial success, winning a Grammy Award and producing hit singles such as “In for the Kill” and “Bulletproof”.
