Tee Grizzley is back with a new song titled Satish. Released with music video, the new Tee Grizzley track is dedicated to his late aunt and manager Jobina Satish Brown.
Brown, 41, was murdered in their hometown on August 20 by a gunman who opened fire on Grizzley’s black Chrysler 300, according to Detroit News. She reportedly was struck multiple times while riding in the back seat of the vehicle. Tee and their driver weren’t hurt from the incident and they drove Brown to the hospital before she was pronounced dead.
The Detroit rapper gives full disclosure of his overwhelming grief and rage in the song’s visual. He claims Brown was the unintentional victim of a hit that targeted him and speaks openly about his vengeful thoughts on the assailant.
“And you think they came for her? Man you know they came for me,” he raps on the song. “If we tear this bitch up, they gon’ say I’m dead wrong / Fuck that, these n***as got my aunty with a headstone.”
