Sherwood Marty releases a new song he titles “Vibe Is” featuring Chris Brown. Available for download and streaming, this new track has the potential to be a hit. Like YoungBoy Never Broke Again and Kevin Gates, Marty hails from Baton Rouge, Louisiana.He debuted in 2016 with the mixtape Stuck in the Trenches: Self Made, Vol. 1, home to the track “Everything.”

His audience grew the next year with the release of the underground hit “Sherwood Baby,” an ode to his namesake hometown neighborhood. He followed with “SOS (Smashed on Sight)” and “Suicide,” signing with 300 Entertainment before the end of the year. In 2018, Sherwood Marty issued the collaborative mixtape Young & Reckless with Sacramento-via-Mobile rapper OMB Peezy.
