Alicia Keys returns with a new single called “Show Me Love” which features singer Miguel. Available for download and streaming, “Show Me Love” is accompanied by a music video and this is Alicia Keys and Miguel’s second collaboration. Back in 2012, the two teamed up for “Where’s The Fun In Forever,” a song that appeared on his album Kaleidoscope Dream.
The clip also features actors Michael B. Jordan and Zoë Saldana, along with Saldana’s artist husband, Marco Perego Saldana.
In the Cara Stricker-directed video, couples move languidly through literal and figurative stormy scenes. Jordan struggles against a torrential downpour as he moves towards a woman, while Keys and Miguel find themselves on opposite sides of a room and “swim” to meet at a piano.
Pitchfork says the song features guitar from Raphael Saadiq, a man who has been making graceful and beautiful neo-soul since the late ’80s, when it was basically still just soul.
