XXXTENTACION returns with a remix to his song #ProudCatOwner featuring Rico Nasty. The track was originally released after someone allegedly hacked X’s SoundCloud in December of 2017. The remix is set to be included as a part of the Deluxe Anniversary Edition of his ? album scheduled to release on Sept. 6.
The song is produced by Ronny J and the original version was released around the same time as X’s A Ghetto Christmas Carol EP. Rico supported X early in his career, calling for him to be freed from prison in early 2017 after he was arrested on a series of disturbing domestic battery charges in a case that remained unresolved at the time of his murder last year:
XXXTentacion’s estate is releasing a deluxe box set of his 2018 album, ? (Question Mark), and while it mostly features demos and instrumentals of previously released material. The deluxe reissue of ? (Question Mark) is the latest posthumous release from X’s estate, following his 2018 album, SKINS, and a recent single “Royalty” taken from a second posthumous album.
