Lady Donli releases her debut album, Enjoy Your Life. Listing 15 tracks on the music project, the singer features BenjiFlow, Tems, Somadina, Amaarae, VanJess, The Cavemen and more.
Creating this project Donli listened to works from all around Africa, from Danfo Drivers, Tony Tetuila, Awilo Longomba to Brenda Fassie, Fatoumata Diawara, Oumou Sangaré, Angélique Kidjo.
In her words; ‘It reminds of you of simpler times’. She wants people to listen to the album and think of simpler times, channeling the feelings of her childhood into this body of art and wants listeners to connect to that feeling, finding solace in hard times.
This album is a manifestation of Donli’s growth through her music career. As her debut album, it expresses her years of preparation and dedication to her art.
