Kash Doll drops off the music video for Ready Set featuring Big Sean. The Take A Daytrip-produced bop follows a racing theme, showing both rappers on the track in some fast-moving vehicles. Cars do donuts around them before they hop in their proper whips and see who can push the pedal to the metal faster.
‘Ready Set’ is a motivational and aspirational song,” Kash Doll tells Billboard. “I wanted to let people know if I can make it, despite the things I’ve been through, they can do it too. I’m a D girl, so I’m determined.”
The scene pivots to Big Sean linking up with Kash Doll on the venue’s bleachers, where Dreezy and Sevyn Streeter make brief surprise cameos. “It was only right I hit up Detroit legend Big Sean,” Kash says. “I appreciate him for always showing me love. Coming from the same city, I watched how hard he worked and that inspired me so it was only fitting we did this song together.”
