Mabel’s High Expectations (Album) has finally arrived. Loaded with 14 tracks, the singer’s new music project is available for download and streaming.
Mabel enlists the services of guest music acts such as Kamille, Kojo Funds and Rich the Kid. In a statement introducing the album, Mabel wrote: “High Expectations, the title says it all. It’s about the expectations I have of myself, other people’s expectations of me and vice versa, especially in relationships. The general topic of the project is the negatives and positives that come with that. I want to send a positive message to everyone that’s going to listen to it. I’ve gained so much confidence from writing this album and that’s what I want people to take from it.”
Mabel has been forced to postpone a series of forthcoming UK and Ireland dates due to illness.
The singer has shifted shows for her ‘Mad Love Tour’ in cities such as Manchester, Glasgow, Nottingham, Liverpool and London this month, to November. She has also confirmed that she will not not be performing at Boardmasters on August 9 or Way Out West festival on the same weekend.
