Beyoncé & Jacky Cheung have released a Can You Feel the Love Tonight duet. Disney’s The Lion King amassed a whopping 53.8 million USD in its opening three days. Beyoncé and Hong Kong pop star Jacky Cheung decided to give an asian feel to one of the most played and loved songs from the soundtrack.
The track has been branded as a “dream duet” by fans in China. Fans hailed the duet for the Chinese cinematic release of the film, as the “collaboration of the century” after a 15-second teaser of the song, Can You Feel the Love Tonight was leaked online yesterday.
The song won the Best Original Song at the Oscars and Golden Globe Awards that year, earning Elton a Best Male Pop Vocal Performer honour too at the Grammy Awards.
