Of Monsters and Men have released a new song titled Wild Roses. Available for download and streaming, this is the second single off their upcoming album, Fever Dream. The dance-pop track follows the leading single off the album, “Alligator”, which has just risen to No.1 on Billboard‘s Adult Alternative Songs airplay chart.
Wild roses is an upbeat, dance sound from the folk-rock band, with intimate vocals and lyrical influence from mythologist. “The song shows an introverted side to the album and is influenced by a bit of dance music and Joseph Campbell’s ‘The power of myth and what it is like to lean into your sadness,’” co-vocalist Nanna Hilmarsdóttir said in a statement.
