Elle Varner releases her new album titled Ellevation. Available for download and streaming, the new music project lists 9 songs with features from Wale and Rapsody. The new body of work arrives Seven years after the release of her debut album, Perfectly Imperfect in 2012.
“It gives you more insight as to some of the things I’ve experienced. It’s definitely more personal,” Elle Varner shared. “The production is some of my favorite production. Some of it reminds me of A Tribe Called Quest with a jazzy, boom bap, those kind of drums, dirty, grungy drums. It’s about storytelling, it’s about everyday life and my journey.”
Included on the album is her current single “Pour Me” featuring Wale for which she recently released a video. In addition to the feature from Wale, she also has a guest appearance from rapper Rapsody on the song “Wishing Well”.
