Red Hearse have released two new singles. One is the self titled and the other called Honey. Red Hearse made up of Jack Antonoff, singer Sam Dew and producer Sounwave. Available for download and streaming, the new song is also accompanied by another track titled Honey which is off their forthcoming album.
The audio videos for both tracks feature visuals of a toy red hearse. A car loops around a bush-lined street, where it leaves skid marks and an orange moon serves as a backdrop. “I’ll be better than I was before/A natural, all of the past out the door/I’ll never let you go,” Dew sings.
Honey is soul love song which has Dew rejoicing, “We move slow like honey,” and proclaiming, “Whatever you’re servin’ is whatever I want.”
Red Hearse Lyrics
Wake up in the midnight
Heavy heart hittin’ under red light
The last flowers, the first sight
First time I saw you, gave me half life
And you’re the only one I really want now
You’re the only one that make me slow down
You’re the only one who rea- Ah, can I punch that last one?
Honey Lyrics
In the future
I’ll be in a stupor
You’re just too good, my dear
I can’t keep you waiting now
The future ain’t the future right here
