Barcelona could complete the £107million signing of Antoine Griezmann as early as next week, when his Atletico Madrid release clause decreases, according to The Telegraph.
Griezmann has already gone public with his desire to leave Diego Simeone’s side this summer. Barca have been leading the race to secure his services, but Paris Saint-Germain are also keen, as well as Manchester United.
But it is understood that the LaLiga champions have won the race to sign Griezmann, who will see his release clause drop to €120m (£107m) from €200m (£178m) on July 1.
The France international has already agreed personal terms with Barca, but the release clause was delaying the move going through. Griezmann was initially linked with a move to the Nou Camp last summer, but decided to stay at Atletico.
