Drake come through with a new single titled Omerta. The Canadian rapper announced the single along with another track titled Money In The Grave featuring Rick Ross after the Toronto Raptors won the 2019 NBA championship. After jumping up and down, chugging champagne — he’s the Champagne Papi after all — and hugging everyone around him after the game ended, the rapper announced he’s dropping new music Friday — or as he called it, a “2 pack.”
Drake discussed the win with reporters. “We did this off of heart. We did this off of love,” he said. “We willed this into existence. We manifested this. I told you the first time. People like to make memes—make another meme out of this. It’s beautiful.”
In an Instagram post shortly after the game, Drake posted a photo of a championship trophy along with the words, “Omerta” and “Money in the Grave” featuring Rick Ross.
“The chip to the 6! See you tomorrow with a 2 Pack lets go,” he captioned the photo — but in upper case and lots of exclamation points.

Drake has been especially vocal throughout the Raptors’ run to the NBA Finals. In May, during the Eastern Conference Finals, Drake interacted directly with Raptors coach Nick Nurse on the sideline. He was also criticized by Milwaukee Bucks fans for what they saw as disrespectful antics on the sidelines. Georgios Dimitropoulos (a senior executive at the European agency that used to represent Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo) tweeted, “Never seen anything as disrespectful as this before….” He later deleted the tweet.
I am just a body that my brothers are living through
Keeping my connections strictly physical
Everyone that’s married is miserable
I know that that is not a lifestyle I can give into
The rise to the top of this mountain has been biblical
I don’t carry cash ’cause the money is digital
