Jai Paul returns with a new song titled “Do You Love Her Now.” Available for download and streaming, the London experimental R&B artist has hardly released a thing. He and his brother A.K. have hung out with Miguel, helped launch Nao’s career, and founded the Paul Institute, through which involves working on and releasing tracks by artists even more obscure than they are. It’s like Frank Ocean pulled a Jay Electronica.
Jai Paul launched a new website, through which you can download the leaked album — now known as Leak 04-13 (Bait Ones) — for a price of your choosing. It’s also on the streaming services. So are a brand new pair of tracks called “Do You Love Her Now” and “He” — his first official singles since 2012.
“I’ve been working on some music and a website recently so I’d like to share that with you (http://www.jai-paul.com ) Have a look on desktop if u can, I think it works a bit better on there. I hope u like it, cheers, Jai.” He also shared a lengthy message to fans, which you can read below. “Recently, I’ve been having therapy of various kinds, and this has helped me get to a place where I can begin to think about returning to music,” Paul writes. “I am thankful for that. It has allowed me to understand some of what happened in 2013 a little better – not through anybody else’s lens, but through my own, and through this, I’ve been able to acknowledge some of the trauma and grief.” He also has a new official promo photo! So… hopefully even more new music is coming.
