Lil Wayne – The Funeral (Album download)
Lil Wayne is here with a new album titled Funeral. Announced last year, Lil Wayne’s latest music project was confirmed by ticket master which allowed you to choose between a new Blink 182 album or The Funeral. Lil Wayne Funeral Album download is finally here.
“Your ticket comes with a physical CD per order with your choice of Blink-182’s or Lil Wayne’s forthcoming album. Approximately 24-48 hours after purchase, you will receive an additional email with instruction on how to redeem your album. US/Canadian residents only. One CD per online order. Not valid for Fan to Fan Resale,” reads Ticketmaster’s message to customers.
The message is clear for die-hard fans who’ve been craving a follow-up to Tha Carter V. Last month (April 30), Lil Wayne hit up his Instagram Story and posted an emoji of a coffin. Naturally, fans still believe that the cryptic post indicates that Weezy is ready to release his long-rumored Funeral album.
The New Orleans native first revealed plans for the project three years ago. During an interview on The Nine Club podcast, Tunechi claimed he had a project called Funeral in his stash but never confirmed a release date for the project.
“Just make sure they know that Funeral is coming soon,” Wayne said in 2016. “That’s my music. Get your roses ready. I don’t have a release date, but I have a whole bunch of good news coming soon. If you’re a Wayne fan, I know we’ve been going through a lot of tough times right now, but if you are a Wayne fan, we about to hold our heads high soon.”

Weezy confirmed the LP was on the way while revealing that he’d connected with Lil Baby and Big Sean for songs.
“I’ve worked with a bunch of artists already,” Weezy said at the time. “I don’t want to give up the goods on too many. Lil Baby. I’m a big Lil Baby fan. So it was a swap type of thing. You send me a song, I send… that type of thing. But actually he demanded that he work with me. That’s a new thing these days. Back in the days when I was doing it, there was no such thing as you send me your song. You had to be in the studio with that person. He demanded that. So I respected that. We got to do the session together. We was out here in New York, not long ago. Probably a month ago. It was him, I and Big Sean.”
