Silentó drops new EP titled SilentóMOB: The Doctor’s Exclusive. Available for download and streaming, Silentó returns to the music scene after a while with a 5 track music project.
The lead single from SilentóMOB: The Doctor’s Exclusive is a song titled “Cards,” a personal track where the Georgia artist both sings and raps about being known around the globe, but still having to “play your cards right” in order to make something of yourself.
Yet, two standout tracks on the EP are “Right Now” and “Trenches” featuring BigSticcy, so make sure to give those a good listen.
Silentó released his debut single “Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)” on YouTube, a song that would go on to become an international hit inspiring a dance craze that spanned from coast-to-coast. The video currently boasts over one billion views, but Silentó’s career doesn’t end there. Now 21-years-old, the young artist has returned with his latest effort, a five-track EP titled SilentóMOB: The Doctor’s Exclusive.
Previously, Silentó was thrust into the limelight, becoming a superstar because of one hit. Now, he’s a young man who is realizing his artistry while developing creatively.
“When you perform in front human beings in different countries all over the world, you think you have it all and believe you’re one of the best in the industry,” Silentó said. “However, I was young, naive, and didn’t have the ability to create the music that I wanted the world to hear. I was subjected to one song. Now that I’ve seen what an impact one song can make, I’m able to use the fuel and ideation to create sounds that can resonate to everybody. I want my music to not only to represent what I went through, but inspire others through the music and most importantly have everyone be able to relate to it.”
