AUGUST 08 shares new song titled Simple Pleasures. Available for download and streaming, August 08‘s new song is a follow up to his February’s single “Blood on My Hands,” a collaboration with Smino.
Speaking on his latest track Simple Pleasures, the music act told Highsnobiety in an email that “Before me and my friends wrote the song, I opened up to them about this girl I was seeing that started out as a casual fling. The relationship was initially supposed to be friends-with-benefits and then personal feelings got involved that led to issues. The song talks about the danger of getting involved romantically with a friend because feelings may get hurt.”
