Birdman & Juvenile – Just Another Gangsta (Album Download)

Birdman and Juvenile drop their collaborative album, Just Another Gangsta. Available for download and streaming, the twelve-track album showcases the two musicians, although they do include one feature on the closing track Dreams with NLE Choppa. The nostalgia-fuelled album serves as Juvenile’s first release since re-joining the production house Cash Money, which spiked his career in the late 90s. They stick to their Southern style that complements them well and, thankfully, they don’t try to lean too much on what’s saturating the airwaves today. You won’t find trap-heavy productions or NOLA bounce-beats on Just Another Gangsta

Back in 1998, Juvenile had a chart-topping hit record with his classic 400 Degreez, an album that featured his memorable singles “Back That Azz Up” and “HA.” The New Orleans rapper was one of Cash Money’s leading lyrical forces, but a dispute between them caused Juvenile to leave the label back in 2001.

The duo released the music videos for the title track Just Another Gangster and the closing track Dreams featuring NLE Choppa during the first quarter of 2019, which created a hype for their collaborative album amongst their fans.

The full-length project incorporates heavy 90s hip-hop beats in songs such as Back Then and Tonight. From The Bottom, Broke and Filthy Money are amongst the songs which showcase modern hip-hop sounds with their trap beats and auto-pitched vocals.
