Willa begun writing songs at the age of 9 after a favorite teacher peaked her interest in poetry. In the time since, she’s been captivating audiences with her magnetic voice, even earning praise from music icons like Dolly Parton who recently took to social media to share words of admiration for the rising star.

“When I first met Willa, she was 12 years old with giant glasses, braces and rambling with excitement,” said Linda Perry. “She played me a song she wrote and I was intrigued. Two months later she played me 6 more original songs that were so moving I was brought to tears. I feel honored to help develop this incredible talent and take part in her journey.
