Netsky could barely his excitement over the song’s release when he issued his official statement to the press. “As soon as I heard Bazzi’s topline I knew it was special,” Netsky exclaimed before discussing the importance of Weezy’s caesura. Netsky faced the possibility of publishing the song without the Hollygrove legend, but in the end, chose the friendlier of two options, as far as hip-hop audiences are concerned.
