Marina – Love + Fear (Album download)
Marina is here with her new album, Love + Fear. Pop music star formerly known as Marina and the Diamonds announced her new double album LOVE + FEAR is on its way. LOVE+FEAR follows FROOT from 2015, but is the first album Marina Diamandis has released since taking a four-year musical hiatus to “rediscover her authentic self” and rename herself MARINA.
The dual album was recorded in London, Sweden, and Los Angeles with a handful of producers, such as Noonie Bao, Sam De Jong, Oscar Görres, Camille Purcell, Justin Parker, and Joe Janiak. LOVE+FEAR will feature 16 new songs divided across two eight-track collections, including early single “Handmade Heaven”. A press statement elaborates further on the album’s two sections:
The announcement follows the release of “Handmade Heaven,” Marina’s first solo single in over four years, which saw the now-eponymous star return to her near-operatic roots on the lushly angelic mid-tempo track.
On Twitter, the “Primadonna” songstress also announced the first leg of her upcoming headlining tour, which kicks off on April 29 in the U.K. More shows in the rest of the world will be announced soon.
LOVE + FEAR will be Marina’s first studio album since 2015’s Froot, as well as the first since dropping her “and the Diamonds” stage name earlier this year.
