Emma Westenberg directs the sunny beach clip, which stars Troye as a lovesick solo sunbather who transforms the setting into a (slightly gory, but still sweet) life-affirming party with the power of his affection.
Sivan directed fans to Spotify to see the clip, which plays on loop when listening to “Lucky Strike” on the streaming platform through a mobile device. The preview shows Sivan and a handsome model sipping on a cherry-red beverage on the beach. The singer is wears a matching candy-striped button-up.
The singer also shared a cropped version of the video on his Twitter, along with a message signaling fans to hit the “set reminder” button on YouTube for the music video premiere.
