Blockhead releases a new song titled Kiss The Cook featuring Aesop Rock. Rock has once again reunited the New York iconBlockhead, who is in the process of readying his own Free Sweatpants album. You might remember that Rock and Block previously linked up for the acclaimed “None Shall Pass” back in 2007, which many still herald as Aesop’s finest project.
Speaking with HipHopDX, Blockhead opened up about their new collaboration “Kiss The Cook.” “It had been a while since Aes and I worked on an original song, but once we started, the pieces just fell into place,” he explains. “Mixing it was interesting because originally the production had a harsher edge, but I moved to something more melodic and upbeat.”
