Diego fka Lil Xan is here with a new single titled Watch Me Fall. Diego is promising a lot with his new single, noting that we’ll all be able to hear how much he’s grown as an artist. He recently spent time in rehab for a drug problem and it’s possible that he revamped his sound during his time off. . Diego says that the song is a special one for him, noting that he plans to drop a video on the same day.
When Lil Xan announced that he would be naming his next album after the final words Mac Miller told him, he also promised that he would be bringing real rap vibes to the table. The question remains if Xan has what it takes to deliver the bars he’s assured us on. In the past, he’s released some questionable efforts with many ranking his Total Xanarchy album as one of the worst projects of 2018.
On November 15, Lil Xan captioned one of his Instagram photos, “I just dropped out of SoundCloud Uni to go to rehab,🎉” and said he “couldn’t be happier with this choice.” Before Lil Xan was admitted, he said the deaths and overdoses of his friends Lil Peep and Mac Miller “hit too close to home.” Xan told TMZ that he struggles with “a lot of opioids,” but he’s “been way worse in the past.” He added, “I’ve actually been 10 times worse than what I’ve been now. But I want to do rehab now to get over this last little hump…so I can finally be just back to Diego.”
After he finishes his treatment, Xan said he’s going to change his stage name to Diego and won’t be “talking good about drugs and all that” anymore.
