South African music group Mi Casa release a new single titled Love Is. Boy band Mi Casa have released a new single titled Love Is. The song is believed to be the leading single of their forthcoming studio album Music is Craft.
Mi Casa signed a global publishing deal with music publishing house Sony/ATV that will see the band members music on new and old reach a global market. Announced on May 17, the partnership with the music publishing house will see the band in a five year deal which will still allow them to make their own music.
Vocalist of Mi Casa, J-Something explained that their reason for picking Sony/ATV in particular was the relationship they had cultivated with Sony/ATV’s Managing Director, Rowlin Naicker who showed great passion in the band’s growth. “We had many people approach us but then you get this one guy who doesn’t want to talk about anything but how excited he is. Like we’re really going to make this a huge success, we’re going to make this amazing, we’re gonna celebrate!”
Mi Casa will join artists likes of Jimmy Nevis, Youngsta CPT, Dr Victor and the Rasta Rebels, Emo Adams, Mango Groove, Freshly Ground, Micasa, Lady Zamar, Shekhinah, Goodluck and AKA, to name a few at the Heart Cape Town Music Festival. It will take place on the 9 February 2019 at Newlands Cricket Stadium.
